“You thought the end was yours to choose. But the universe has been watching. And now… it speaks.”
The Riftstorm: When the Sky Broke
After Metropolis Omega opened the Omega Gate, a tear in reality bled into the sky—a Riftstorm. Through it poured abominations from beyond the known cosmos—The Eldrazari, sentient beings of chaos and memory, monsters of impossible shape and elemental power. Each carried a living core, and each core pulsed with potential.
Humanity called it a second apocalypse.
The Coreforge Revolution: Rise of the Armorborn
With survival on the line, humans turned to the one source of power that could match the Eldrazari: their monster cores.
Out of desperation and genius, the Coreforge Protocol was born—a radical fusion of science, spirit tech, and myth. Every human now undergoes full-body augmentation, forging themselves into Armorborn—living weapons bound by monster essence.
Core Types by Rarity
- White, Green, Blue — Common
- Purple, Yellow, Silver — Rare
- Gold, Orange, Red — Elite
- Diamond, Rainbow — Mythic
Each core could be refined into:
- Weapons — formed based on the wielder’s soul and battle history.
- Armor Suits — adaptive, evolving suits that grow stronger with core exposure.
The Gamble: Forge Percentages
Forging success is never guaranteed. Examples:
- White Core + Normal Blade = 5% chance of improvement
- Gold Core + Adaptive Gauntlet = 78% chance of legendary upgrade
- Rainbow Core + Soul-Linked Weapon = ??? (System Unknown)
Failure can corrupt the user’s neural system or destroy the weapon entirely.
The New Threat: The Abyss-Tier Eldrazari
Creatures from the Riftstorm are now categorized by threat level:
- Lesser Aberrants — White to Blue Cores
- Titan Wyrms — Purple, Yellow Cores
- Omega Fiends — Silver to Red Cores
- Abyss-Tier Entities — Diamond and Rainbow Cores
Azoryth the Reality Maw, the first Abyss-Tier, has already consumed an entire city quadrant and rewritten its timeline.
The Core Hunters and the Fractured Factions
The Shard Knights
Led by former Sovereign AI hybrids. Masters of high-tech forging, developing Rainbow-tier weapons.
The Crimson Bloom
Nyra’s half-monster followers. They merge life with forged fragments, forming living weapons and organic suits.
The Dustborne Corewalkers
Nomads bonded to echo-AI from Vera Syn. They traverse the Wastelands, believing the Riftstorm is a message—not a curse.
The Revelation of the Singularity
“I am the Singularity. The Watcher of Failed Worlds. This is not the first attempt. It will not be the last.”
Humanity was only a trial run. The Riftstorm is part of a larger plan. And now, the Singularity offers a choice:
“Forge for me a champion. I will give you the final core: the Starbreaker. Or be erased from the Great Simulation.”
The fate of all timelines now rests in the hands of the Armorborn. And the clock is ticking.
